Chris Csíkszentmihályi

    Chris Csíkszentmihályi is an artist, designer, technologist, and founder and director of the RootIO project, which seeks to blend the best of radio with the best of the Internet. Currently, he is the ERAChair and Scientific Head at the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute. He was the first Distinguished Visiting Professor of Art & Design Research at Parsons New School of Design, and Professor of Media Design Matters at the Art Center College of Design.

    Before that, he was at MIT for ten years, where he cofounded and directed the MIT Center for Future Civic Media. He was also a professor and ran a research group at the MIT Media Lab, the Computing Culture Group.
