Harald Gohm has been CEO of Standortagentur Tirol since 2000. Born and raised in Landeck, he graduated from HTL (Secondary Technical College for Electrical Engineering) and studied law at Innsbruck University. His thesis on self- organised regional development was awarded the Science Award by the EU Committee of the Regions. He then completed a Postgraduate European Law Course as well as training in Strategic Management at St. Gallen Management Centre and in Systemic Organisational Development at Trigon Munich.
In 2004 Gohm took over the management of Tech Tirol Betriebsansiedlungs-und Standortmarketing GmbH (Settlement and Location Marketing). This company was then integrated in
to Standortagentur Tirol.
He has represented the State of Tyrol in numerous committees, such as the Federal Government/Federal State Platform of the Austrian Council for Science and Technology, the Tyrol Economic Fund (acting chairperson), the General Assembly of Onco Tyrol GmbH (chair) and Zukunftszentrum Tirol (member of the supervisory board).
